Strain Review Photoperiod
Mikado. The origins of this 100% Indica strain are unknown, but its name could suggest Japanese heritage. We do know it is a great medicinal strain used to treat chronic pain. It’s flavors remind the patient of wild Raspberries. It gives a long lasting, almost playful high. Growers may find this attractive because of its quick flowering time (6 weeks) and it’s textbook Indica traits. You’ll notice the shorter, squat, fat purple leaves with pinkish hairs. The females identify themselves pretty early with those hairs. Outdoor growers have reported yields as high as one pound per plant! So, for medical patients growing their own meds, this is a great plant to start with.
